• The Academic year at EIS commences on the first Monday of June every year.
  
  
• EIS observes major national holidays of India.


• School begins for Primary at 8:30 a.m. with the dismissal at 3:20 p.m. on Monday to Friday and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Montessori 8:30 a.m. with the dismissal at 1:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
  
  
• Orientation Day students and their families are invited to Orientation Day which is held in the week prior to first day of the School. This is not just for new students; all the families are welcome to attend. The purpose of this day is to meet teachers, other students and parents.
  
  
• School bus service though not a door-to-door service, School buses ply around the R.T Nagar area, touching most of the areas favored by the EIS community.
